About me

Thomas Brühlmann is the co-founder and managing director of Amazing Views Photo & Adventurer Tours and a professional wildlife photographer.

Since my first trip to Southern Africa a good 20 years ago, I have been travelling back again and again. I was disappointed by the photos I took on my first trips and began to study photography intensively. I trained with renowned photographers and gained experience on many trips. Since 2016 I am a professional photographer and owner of Amazing Views Photo & Adventure Tours.

Every year I travel for 3 – 4 months to the most beautiful national parks and game reserves in the world. My great passion is wildlife photography. It fascinates me to photograph lions in the Kalahari or bears in Alaska. A special experience for me are also safaris on foot, e.g. in Mana Pools on the tracks of elephants. You get incredibly close to nature. Encounters with animals always captivate me anew. I love watching them, observing and photographing them in their natural environment. The quest for the image that precisely conveys the essence of the respective situation spurs me on.

I enthusiastically share my knowledge and years of experience in Amazing Views workshops and on photo tours. We have developed Amazing Views into the leading provider of photo tours in German-speaking countries. We have already successfully conducted more than 200 photo tours.

Working with some of the world’s best photographers continues to inspire me. This enables us to regularly offer our guests new and exceptional photo tours.

As a business economist FH, I held various management positions in the financial sector for 20 years. I have proven expertise in project management and implementation.
